Why Prodecoder SIP22?

Prodecoder SIP22 is a mechanical tool that opens slot type SIP22 very quickly (locks on 7 wafers and locks on 8 wafers). To be successful with the opening, a specific procedure must be followed. One of the biggest challenges every user faces is determining the wrong side of the inserts from the right side of the insert. This is explained in step 3 and you can also watch it in the video.
When used according to the instructions, the decoder can become an indispensable tool for any professional locksmith, not only in opening, but also in decoding. After decryption, the user can create a duplicate key.

Important about the Ignition SIP22

NOT to be used on ignition switch direct - the ignition switch (on the handlebars) has a side bar that prevents direct picking. Open the door lock first, then just plug in the ignition (don't reset tools) and turn the ignition.

How to place the Prodecoder SIP22 in the lock?​

Check correct positioning - as this is a mechanical tool and not a wrench it has a right side and a wrong side. in the video below you can see how to determine the right side - it's very simple! Watch the video instructions and also Step 3 below

WD-40? Yes, it's important

Always apply WD40 before placing the decoders in the locks. WD-40 loosens rust-to-metal bonds and loosens seized, frozen, or corroded metal parts. With WD-40 you help move the pins in the lock cylinder - this leads to better performance​

Three main wheels, easy to remember

Step 1. Reset procedure of Prodecoder SIP22:

• turn the turbo wheel to the right / back one with serial number /
• close the gate wheel by pressing it
• reset the 7 pins by pushing them maximum down through the 3 holes on the first side and 4 holes on the second side (7 holes in total) as shown in the picture below
• all pins should be aligned as shown in the picture below. Now your Prodecoder is ready to open the lock.

Step 2. Place the Prodecoder in the slot

• Close the gate wheel / push it in /
• Turn the turbo wheel to the right
• Put the decoder in the slot with the gate closed and keep the gate wheel completely closed (if the gate is not closed, you will break the decoder)

Step 3. Right side or wrong side?

• Fully insert the decoder into the slot.
• Push the rear turbo wheel
• If the Gate wheel pops out (watch the video) it's on the wrong side
• If the Gate wheel doesn't pop out, you're on the right side

Step 4. Opening Procedure​

Make sure you have placed the tool on the correct side. The most important thing is how strong your tension is (on the tension wheel). If it is too weak, the lock will not open or it will open very slowly. If the tension is insanely strong, you can break the tool or risk deforming the tool.

Turn the idler wheel to the LEFT (hold it) and then turn the turbo wheel to the left until you reach the 1st stop point (we engraved 1 2 3 stop points on the gate) and return the turbo wheel to the right to its original position. Rotate the idler wheel to the RIGHT (hold it), then rotate the turbo wheel to the left until you reach the 1st stop point (we engraved 1 2 3 stop points on the gate) and return the turbo wheel to the right to its original position. Repeat this procedure 15-20 times at stop point 1, 15-20 times at stop point 2 and 15-20 times at stop point 3. This is called "progressive opening".

You also have the option to open instantly - from all the way to the right to all the way to the left at stop point 3

Don't rush with the tool, the point here is not to reach point 3. When the prodecoder has turned to the opening position, stay in this position and turn the turbo wheel to the stop point on the gate wheel (the opening point) Juggle a little Turn to the other side
